If routes 14 and 414 were combined as proposed, when would the changes take place?
Subject to the outcome of consultation, if we decide to proceed with these changes, the service changes would be expected to take place during 2025. Any changes would be supported with customer information to ensure everyone is made aware.
How would the proposed changes affect access to key destinations such as the Chelsea and Westminster, The Royal Marsden and Royal Brompton hospitals?
As explained in the consultation materials, access to key destinations would not change as part of these proposals, except that there would be fewer buses per hour operating, if the 414 no longer ran.
Routes 14 and 414 together, currently provide a bus approximately every four minutes. If the routes were to be merged as proposed, there would be a bus every eight minutes Monday-Saturday daytimes.
