Customers travelling to/from Putney High Street


     

    Passengers on both routes 424 and 454 would lose direct connections with Putney High Street. 196 unique trips per weekday on existing route 424 would be broken. This means that passengers would need to walk further to a bus stop and change. These journeys are mainly to/from Sands End Sainsbury’s, Putney Hill and Putney Station.

    Northbound: 

    • interchange at stop N (Lytton Grove) to routes 14, 39, 85, 93

    Southbound: 

    • Alight at stop E (Putney Station), cross Upper Richmond Road to  board the 424 at stop H (Putney Station)

    Route 454 Passengers:

    • Could walk between Putney Bridge bus station and Putney High Street.

    Alternatively passengers travelling southbound could interchange at: 

    • Stop FC in Putney Bridge bus station for routes 39, 85, 93 or 270 to travel across Putney Bridge to Putney High Street
    • Stop FX on New King’s Road for route 22 to/from Lower Richmond Road
    • Stops FE/FD on Putney Bridge Approach for routes 14, 74, 430 or 220 to travel across Putney Bridge to Putney High Street

    Passengers travelling northbound:

    • on routes 39, 85, 93 or 270, could alight in Putney Bridge Bus Station and board route 454 in the bus station
    • on route 22, could interchange onto route 454 at stop FW (Putney Bridge Station / Fulham High Street)
    • on routes 14, 74, 220 or 430 could alight at stop FH on Putney Bridge Approach, cross the road to Putney Bridge Bus Station and board route 454 in the bus station

    Customers travelling to/from Fulham Broadway and Townmead Road

    Passengers who currently travel from/to Byam Street, Broughton Road and Pearscroft Road would lose direct connections with Fulham Broadway and Townmead Road. 

    To reach Fulham Broadway they could:

    • travel to Wandsworth Bridge Road to access routes 28 or 295 at the Sands End/Hazlebury Road northbound bus stop 
    • travel to Bagley’s Lane to access route 454
    • travel to Imperial Road to access route 306 at stop M (Fulmead Street)

    In the opposite direction from Fulham Broadway, passengers could:

    • travel to Imperial Road on route 306, alighting at stop P (Harwood Terrace) 
    • travel to Wandsworth Bridge Road on routes 28 or 295 and alight at the Bovingdon Road southbound bus stop 
    • travel to Bagley’s Lane on route 454

    To reach Townmead Road from Byam Street, Broughton Road or Pearscroft Road, passengers could travel to Imperial Road to access route 306 at Stop P (Harwood Terrace).

    Passengers travelling from Townmead Road on route 306 would need to alight on Imperial Road at stop M (Fulmead Street) to access Byam Street, Broughton Road or Pearscroft Road.



    Customers travelling to/from Lysia Street, Woodlawn Road and Kenyon Street

    Passengers travelling from/to Lysia Street, Woodlawn Road and Kenyon Street would need to walk approximately 200 metres to Queensmill Road, Stevenage Road or Inglethorpe Street to access the hail and ride section of route 454. Alternatively they could walk approximately 300 metres to Fulham Palace Road to access routes 74, 220 or 430 from stops HP or HM (Fulham Cemetery).
