Section four - Elstow Road to Rowdens Road
About 40 metres east of Vincent Road, just beyond Dagenham Avenue, three new parking spaces will be installed on the northern pavement and six new parking spaces will be installed on the southern pavement opposite. See zoomed in Highway map 15 for more detail.
About 140 metres further east of Dagenham Avenue, Treswell Road’s western junction will be made one-way, except for cycles, with no-entry from Goresbrook Road.
About 60 metres east of Treswell Road’s western junction with Goresbrook Road, a raised table will be installed covering the whole of the junction of Goresbrook Road with Starmans Close. See zoomed in Highway map 16 for more details.
About 140 metres east from Starmans Close, opposite the eastern junction of Treswell Road, a bus stop will be installed for westbound buses, requiring the removal of four parking spaces. Treswell Road will be made one-way, except for cycle, with entry from Goresbrook Road, See zoomed in Highway map 17 for more details.
About 70 metres further east of Treswell Road a bus stop will be installed for eastbound buses, requiring the removal of two parking spaces, these will be replaced by a one new parking space about 50 metres east of this bus stop and three new parking spaces opposite, about 25 metres west of Burdetts Road. About 60 metres east of Burdetts Road is Rowdons Road, which will be made one-way, except for cycles, with entry from Goresbrook Road. A raised table will be introduced across the whole junction, which will include a Zebra crossing about 10 metres west of Rowdons Road. See zoomed in Highway map 19 for more details.
