Impacts on other bus stops
Bus stop ‘Kidbrooke Park Road Weigall Road (towards Blackheath, Shooters Hill or Wingfield School)'.
At present this is served in both directions by routes 178 and 335, and the B16 on the northbound routeing only. Under this proposal, routes 178, 336 and B15 would no longer use this stop.
The alternative for B16 passengers would be bus stop ‘W’ ‘Weigall Road South Side’ which is 160 metres away.
The alternative for route 335 would be bus stop ‘E’ Weigall Road North Side 115 metres away.
The alternative for 178 passengers would be stop L ‘Cranfield Walk’. This stop is 315 metres away to the north with good pedestrian access to the western side of Kidbrooke Village). Alternatively, 178 passengers may use bus stop ‘N’ ‘Tudway Road’ which is 270 metres to the south.
Bus Stops
The proposed changes to the bus routeings mean changes to bus stops. Our maps show the indicative locations of bus stops in the future. It also includes the removal of one bus stop. The final positioning of bus stops are subject to further discussions with Berkeley Homes and local highway constraints.
