Are changes to other bus routes in the area proposed as part of the plan to renumber the 472 and introduce the SL11 route?
While the London bus network is kept under continual review, we are not proposing changes to other bus routes in the area as part of this consultation.
Why are we doing this project?
The London bus network also has the most coverage compared to all other modes.
Noting a proposed new bus stop on Abbott Road, would this stop provide seating and shelter, and can its exact location be confirmed?
Subject to the outcome of consultation we would work with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets to agree the style of bus stop installed and its precise location.

Why has it taken you so long to start?
Places for London wanted to ensure we appointed the right contractor and that the project was viable before starting the refurbishment.
