Will frequency of the 251 service be increased to mitigate the withdrawal of the 605 if it goes ahead?
We believe that the current 251 service would have enough capacity to accommodate customers who would no longer be able to use the 605. However, as with all our bus services, this will be kept under review.
If, following consultation, a decision is made to go ahead and withdraw the 605 service, when would this happen?
Any decision to withdraw the service is subject to consultation and further decision making processes. If we did decide to go with draw the service we would aim to do so during the school summer holidays this year. However, this would be subject to change. Appropriate notifications would be made to service users and the schools concerned in advance of any change taking place.
