To better align with current demand, we intend to revise our opening time.

We are proposing the following revision to opening times:

  • 08:00 Monday to Thursday
  • 09:00 Friday and Saturday
  • Sunday services will continue to open from 09:00

Why are we making this change?

Operating a near empty service is neither environmentally nor financially sustainable and TfL is seeking to review the current opening times alongside our planned changes to the winter timetable.

These changes are part of our work to deliver better value for money and ensure customer safety by both matching services to current demand and enabling an additional maintenance window which will further improve the reliability of the service.

When will the change to the timetable happen?

Any proposed changes to the timetable will take place in 2025.
