Does this consultation address the impact pedestrianisation
No, this public consultation is about the proposed transport and highway changes to support the pedestrianisation of Oxford Street West. Nobody should be faced with sleeping on our streets. We work closely with partners including London boroughs, the GLA and outreach services to help safeguard anyone sleeping rough on our land and services. TfL has a good working relationship with Westminster City Council and its commissioned outreach service St Mungo’s. We will refer anyone sleeping rough on Oxford Street to them. Outreach teams are experts in what they do and will be able to signpost and refer rough sleepers to the available and appropriate support for each person’s individual circumstances.
