Does TfL not agree that some journeys simply cannot be made on foot or with a bicycle?

Some groups do not like bus stop by-passes – why are they included in the proposals?
The Mayor of London has recently asked Transport for London to conduct a review of bus stop by-passes with a view to identifying ways they could be improved for all groups, such as improving signage.
Why has Transport for London developed it?
As one of London's leading developers we wanted to set out a clear metric-driven tool to ensure we deliver schemes that are the best they can be for London and the communities we serve.
1. Why are you proposing to set the charge at £15?
Road space in central London is tightly constrained and as far as possible, motorised traffic should be disincentivised from entering the CCZ.
Will changes be considered if demand increases or travel patterns change?
The flexible nature of our bus network means we can adjust services to meet changing demand, but we believe that the revised network of routes in central London is the right one for now and future travel demands.
Will this impact bus journey times?
While it is unclear right now if the proposed routeing via London Bridge would change journey times, we think any change would be negligible as the route proposed gives a more direct journey to and from the City.
